Welcome, Foolish Mortals, to the first ever Foolish Mortals Mock Trial. We would like to collectively thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for joining us on this wide ride, and we're honored to have each and every one of you join us on what we hope will be a very successful experience. We hope you guys have fun, and we hope that some of you might like our terrible jokes and abuse of Disney tropes to join us in the main round.

Next Sunday, (5/7) we will be dropping an IC mingle post for you all in our main comm - foolishmortals. The mock trial investigation will be going up on Friday, May 12th and the trial will be posted on Saturday, May 13th barring any OOC circumstances that would hinder/delay them. If you have any questions in regards to the mock trial or the upcoming full game, please hit us up at our mod plurk (foolishmortals) or on our personal accounts (lepowned and blankblankity).

Hi everyone! I'm Gray, graygriffin on plurk, and this will be my third mock trial! I'm going to be bringing in Gratuity Tucci, aka Tip, from The True Meaning of Smekday. She's pretty young, but she's already thwarted an alien invasion, discovered the remains of an ancient crashed spaceship, and learned to drive. She is going to be very annoyed at being abducted like this as well.

Smekday canonically has Happy Mouse Land, a pastiche of Disneyland, and several knockoff versions of Disney characters, so let me know if you'd like her to be aware of a parody version of your character!

He's going to be your new best friend. I haven't done a mock trial before, but I do have two rounds of Trustfell and one of It's Curtains under my belt, so I know my way around this sort of thing! I'm excited to play with all of you, and very sorry to anyone who mentions cars around The Duke.

I'm Ink mister_inkwell and I'll be bringing you Fiddleford McGucket from Gravity Falls, taken from before he was a senile old hillbilly living in a junkyard. Wendy is your usual teen, sarcastic, kind of lazy, and would rather hang out with friends then work at her job... with the added bonus of being a badass thrill seeker.

HEYA... I'm Quix and I've never done this before, not even a little. Which is I guess why I wanted to try out a Mock Trial before doing anything more serious. Also, because a Disney game gives me an excuse to play someone from Wander Over Yonder, of which I chose the worst possible guy for some reason.



Lord Hater (AKA "The Greatest in the Galaxy" AKA "#1 Super Star" AKA "Hatey") is basically a Skeletor expy who is the main "villain" of Wander Over Yonder but also sort of one of the protagonists. That doesn't mean he's a good guy, though, because actually he's pretty much the most self centered and immature space skeleton you'll ever meet. He's basically the emotional maturity of a bratty thirteen year old shoved into the body of a skeleton with lightning bolts. He has a large following of minions mostly because he is extremely persistent and unapologetic, even though he's an honest to god idiot.

He also desperately wants a girlfriend, so I'm sorry to all of these pretty young women who are probably going to have to spurn him at least once. It's okay though, he's used to rejection, and you probably didn't deserve him anyway! (Spoiler: him being an overly aggressive, tyrannical tool overlord is mostly inspired by his own insecurity. Pretend like you don't know!)

I'm gunna have to see how it works out playing someone who acts like such a buffoony POS, BUT HEY THAT'S WHAT THE MOCK TRIAL IS FOR.

It feels like I exclusively play in gimmick-like murdergames because wow have I been in a lot of them. And I feel like things have gone full circle here since my first murdergame was with this guy and the first "round" as a mod I have Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb too.

For those who are canon unfamiliar, Perry the Platypus is the pet platypus of the title characters, who lives a secret double life as Agent P. He fights crime and both a huge grump and secretly a giant dork.

Hello, sorry I'm late, I just managed to shake some sort of bug.

Anyway, I'm Jess (firebenderjess), player of Alastor in Smash Ronpa, Jade in NvCN and, most recently, Margulis in Airlocked. This time, I'm bringing someone a little more unrepentantly self-interested: David Xanatos from Gargoyles. In case you lived under a rock in the late 90s/early 2000s, David is what you would get if you put Batman and Tony Stark in a blender, then removed a lot of the morals from the result. He's charming, friendly, absolutely brilliant and not afraid to trample all over anyone for the benefit of himself and the few people he actually cares about. He's also so terrified of his own mortality that his primary motivation throughout the series aside from making daddy proud of him is gaining immortality...so the perfect kind of guy for a murdergame, right?

He's also another member of the science brigade, with a focus on robotics and AIs. He's naturally curious in general, though, so he'll enjoy any sort of nerd talk. Or any discussion where he learns something, really. He's that sort of guy who never lost a childlike wonder in everything new and unusual...though this whole thing will probably manage to sour his mood if he starts to doubt he'll survive it.

And don't mind the Ryslig icons, I'll be trying to get those switched out ASAP.
