Welcome, Foolish Mortals, to the first ever Foolish Mortals Mock Trial. We would like to collectively thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for joining us on this wide ride, and we're honored to have each and every one of you join us on what we hope will be a very successful experience. We hope you guys have fun, and we hope that some of you might like our terrible jokes and abuse of Disney tropes to join us in the main round.

Next Sunday, (5/7) we will be dropping an IC mingle post for you all in our main comm - foolishmortals. The mock trial investigation will be going up on Friday, May 12th and the trial will be posted on Saturday, May 13th barring any OOC circumstances that would hinder/delay them. If you have any questions in regards to the mock trial or the upcoming full game, please hit us up at our mod plurk (foolishmortals) or on our personal accounts (lepowned and blankblankity).

In the meantime, don't be afraid to get to know the other players slated to join you here. Make friends and then writhe as each of your characters gets dipped one-by-one.

HEYA... I'm Quix and I've never done this before, not even a little. Which is I guess why I wanted to try out a Mock Trial before doing anything more serious. Also, because a Disney game gives me an excuse to play someone from Wander Over Yonder, of which I chose the worst possible guy for some reason.



Lord Hater (AKA "The Greatest in the Galaxy" AKA "#1 Super Star" AKA "Hatey") is basically a Skeletor expy who is the main "villain" of Wander Over Yonder but also sort of one of the protagonists. That doesn't mean he's a good guy, though, because actually he's pretty much the most self centered and immature space skeleton you'll ever meet. He's basically the emotional maturity of a bratty thirteen year old shoved into the body of a skeleton with lightning bolts. He has a large following of minions mostly because he is extremely persistent and unapologetic, even though he's an honest to god idiot.

He also desperately wants a girlfriend, so I'm sorry to all of these pretty young women who are probably going to have to spurn him at least once. It's okay though, he's used to rejection, and you probably didn't deserve him anyway! (Spoiler: him being an overly aggressive, tyrannical tool overlord is mostly inspired by his own insecurity. Pretend like you don't know!)

I'm gunna have to see how it works out playing someone who acts like such a buffoony POS, BUT HEY THAT'S WHAT THE MOCK TRIAL IS FOR.
