Hello, everyone! We are now close to the midway point of Foolish Mortals Round 2, and we're having a blast! So, as a result of this, we wanted to maybe enlighten you guys on details for Foolish Mortals' third and final canon round a little earlier than normal! This is largely due to two factors - the Reserve Date and our plans for Round 3's Endgame!

Reserves for Round 3 will be taking place on Thursday, December 28th (12/28) at 12pm EST. As this technically falls during a holiday break, we thought it'd be best to warn people of this in advance so people who have other obligations can write their apps early. Apps will close on January 5th (as will reserves if they are not filled prior to that point) and the round proper will begin on January 7th!

This will be the final round of Foolish Mortals' canon plotline - the one that has spanned through all three rounds. As a result, if we get a reserve rush wherein all 25 slots are filled within the first minute (we do not expect this), we will be prioritizing new players who haven't been in a round before versus players who have played in the first two rounds. This is due to both the finality of this round and a little bit of endgame details. If you miss this round though, don't worry! We will also be running our Non-Disney Western Animation Gimmick Round in June.

But more importantly, if you have played in the previous two rounds in any capacity, then good news! You can be a part of Round 3's endgame!

Now, I know what you're thinking. Mods, isn't that impossible? Isn't endgame something reserved for only people who are playing in that round? Well, technically, yes! While the Round 3 survivors will be having a traditional final investigation, this will also lead to them being reunited with both the dead and the living from the first two rounds, with all three uniting to stop the singular evil that's causing all of this to happen.

So, how exactly will that work? That's a potential 70-something person investigation, and some people are playing multiple characters! Well, we'll be dividing the characters up into groups and then running three separate events for each throughout the following week. That way, everybody who would like to opt-in to this event is more than welcome to. For example, Group 1's event will be running Sunday-Monday. Group 2's event will be running Tuesday-Wednesday. You get the idea.

We will be providing you all with endgame dates ASAP next year so everybody who is thinking of returning for that event is more than welcome to! It will be an opt-in event, of course, but every player who's in good standing with us is more than welcome to return.
