[I. Waking Up ]
[ There is a heaviness to him when he awakens that there shouldn't be. His first thought is to simply become incorporeal. But there is something wrong. He cannot blend with shadow like he could before. With a grunt, vivid golden eyes open and he raises a hand to the ceiling. ...What's happening...? ]
Where is my strength...?
[ It's almost as if he were human again. Did he not shed that form long ago for the positives this would give? Slowly, he pushes himself off the bed. And then he hovers. Strange. Is this only as far as he can go? A bit forward and he plummets, boot landing on the floor. ...Who did this to him? ]
...So. There is one who thinks they can bind me in mortal flesh? I must have words with this insolent...
[ He clenches a fist then releases it. Fine. Fine. Let's continue onward and investigate. ]
[ II. Body Discovery ]
[ Now that he's more used to his more... Mortal limitations, and he knows the vague rules of this place, he doesn't mind investigating the body that's been discovered. He's formerly a brilliant scientist, after all. He knows anatomy. So, then, he's going to kneel, keeping him gloves on so that he doesn't obscure anything. ]
...Why would one murder a deer? Could they not hope to end the life of any of the others here...?
